Description
Sweet Meets Umami
Our Cape West Coast Honey is used to ferment garlic that is grown by organic principles in the Groot Karoo near Merweville.
During fermentation, the natural interaction between garlic and honey transforms both ingredients.
The result is a rich golden, “garlicky” honey with savoury depth, subtle sweetness and a remarkable umami character.
Perfect for adventurous food lovers, this unique product pairs beautifully with cheese, Asian-inspired dishes, marinades, salad dressings and glazes. Use when caramelising your onions and discover a taste that, I am quite certain of, could become a topic amongst foodies….
